For the past two years I have been working on piecing together a body of work which could reasonably be considered a “project.” Over the last year, my intent has been to take as many pictures as possible; and to put these together in a cohesive manner. These are the last of the series that I thought worth sharing.
2023 has presented more travel opportunities than in the recent past and has provided me with an avenue for exploring subject matter and technical aspects of composition. The simple process of seeking out new experiences. Furthermore, the process has introduced me to not only to a range of new (to me) artistic influences, in addition to a series of landscapes that I never thought I’d see.
In the year to come I’d like to continue with the organizational lessons learned throughout the Rituals. Time to practice has become more of a habit, and lessons about simple persistence are steadily being learned. While the projects to come will be more focused, I sincerely appreciate sharing these selections.
